A married woman<\/strong> <\/a>has sparked debate online after revealing that her husband allegedly asked her to leave their marriage because she travelled to visit her best friend without his approval.<\/p>\n

According to a tweet shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @Oma, her best friend had just returned to the country after spending 10 years abroad, and she was eager to see her despite her husband\u2019s refusal.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

In her words, she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cMy best friend came back after 10 years abroad. We were in different cities, and I told my husband I wanted to go see her, but he refused.<\/em><\/p>\n

Because it had been so long since I saw my friend, I still travelled without telling him. When I arrived, I called him to let him know I was with her. He said nothing.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

She disclosed that things took a shocking turn later that night after her husband sent her a message that left her devastated.<\/p>\n

\u201cLater that night, he sent me a message: \u2018Go and pack your things from my house to your parents\u2019 house,\u201d<\/em> she added.<\/p>\n

The woman questioned whether visiting an old friend should be enough reason for a marriage crisis, insisting that wives are not children who need permission before seeing their friends.<\/p>\n

The story has since sparked mixed reactions online.<\/p>\n
