Pictures<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cEpic,\u201d an animated musical re-telling of Homer\u2019s \u201cThe Odyssey,\u201d is being adapted into a film by \u201cF1\u201d and \u201cTop Gun: Maverick\u201d producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman.<\/p>\n<p>Jorge Rivera-Herrans is the creator, composer, songwriter, producer, and performer behind the viral TikTok series and is teaming with Bruckheimer and Atlantic Music Group president Kevin Weaver to produce it.<\/p>\n<p>The project is said to be in its earliest stages and is being taken out to studios and streamers shortly for presentations by Bruckheimer\u2019s reps at CAA.  It will mark Bruckheimer\u2019s first go at animation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEpic\u201d started out as an ambitious senior thesis at the University of Notre Dame.
