Valorant and Street Fighter 6 players will compete at Canada’s largest gaming event, which takes place in Edmonton in June<\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Asus has unveiled ROG Masters North America 2026, a big open esports tournament for gamers in Canada and the U.S.<\/p>\n

In the competition,\u00a0Valorant\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Street Fighter 6<\/em> players will take part in online qualifiers before finalists face off live at Game Con Canada<\/a> in Edmonton. Organized by Meibel Consulting, the convention runs from June 19-21 and is the largest gaming event in Canada. The online qualifiers will be held from May 30-31, while the top 4\u00a0Valorant\u00a0<\/em>teams and top 8\u00a0Street Fighter 6<\/em> players will advance to the live finals at Game Con Canada on June 21.<\/p>\n

A total prize pool of US$10,000 (about C$13,700) is up for grabs, which will be split evenly between the Valorant\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Street Fighter 6<\/em> tournaments. Valorant\u00a0<\/em>players can register here<\/a>, while\u00a0Street Fighter 6<\/em> players can sign up here<\/a>. Asus\u2019 esports tournaments join a large lineup of Game Con programming. Other highlights include celebrity guests like\u00a0Daredevil\u00a0<\/em>star Deborah Ann Woll and Canadian\u00a0Mass Effect<\/em> star Mark Meer, playable game demos, board games and tabletop games and more. Also that week is inaugural North American Games Industry Summit (NAGIS)<\/a>, an accompanying sister event to Game Con Canada featuring prominent speakers like Atari co-founder Nolan Bushnell and several BioWare veterans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Adult Game Con Canada tickets<\/a> cost $45 (day pass) or $108 (weekend pass), with lower rates being offered to youth and kids. A $350 VIP pass including all of that, plus early entrance, bonus games and collectibles and more is also available.<\/p>\n
