Nigerian activist Harrison Gwamnishu has shared a disturbing video showing police officers in Delta State killing a suspected criminal in public.<\/h3>\n

In the video, the young man is seen sitting on the ground with his hands tied.<\/p>\n

He is heard pleading with the officers, insisting he knows nothing about the crime he was accused of.<\/p>\n

The suspect also claimed a friend had misled him and offered to take the police to the person\u2019s location.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019It is my friend that deceived me. He is in Sapele. I would carry you to his house, I do not know anything. I will take you to where he is. Officer please<\/strong><\/em>!,\u201d the man said.<\/p>\n

It was at this point the police officer\u00a0is seen firing at the suspect at close range.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the video, Gwamnishu questioned how such an incident could happen and said the footage is genuine.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Like serious! In Delta state? Has it gotten to this level?\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u2018 the activist asked.<\/p>\n

He also challenged the police to respond, alleging that the act was carried out to cover up the case.<\/p>\n

The video further showed that the patrol vehicle used by the officers was linked to the Effurun command in Uvwie.<\/p>\n
