\n\tEpsilon Film<\/a> has closed a raft of international deals on \u201cMomo,\u201d the live-action family adventure film based on the novel by Michael Ende, best known for \u201cThe NeverEnding Story,\u201d and starring Martin Freeman<\/a> and Claes Bang.<\/p>\n \n\tU.K. and Ireland rights have been acquired by Signature Entertainment, which plans a summer 2026 theatrical release. Additional sales include Italy (Minerva Pictures), Hungary (Mozinet) and former Yugoslavia (Investacommerce).<\/p>\n \n\tPreviously announced deals include North America (Blue Fox Entertainment), Slovakia and the Czech Republic (Media Group), Denmark and Norway (Another World Entertainment), the Middle East (Selim Ramia & Co.) and worldwide inflight rights (Ricochet Digital Media).<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cMomo\u201d follows the orphaned Momo as she takes on the mysterious Men in Grey, who are stealing people\u2019s time while quietly taking control of her city.<\/p>\n \n\tThe film is directed by Christian Ditter (\u201cLove, Rosie,\u201d \u201cHow to Be Single\u201d), and stars Emmy and BAFTA winner Freeman (\u201cThe Hobbit\u201d trilogy, \u201cSherlock,\u201d \u201cBlack Panther\u201d), Bang (\u201cThe Square,\u201d \u201cDracula,\u201d \u201cThe Northman\u201d), Alexa Goodall, Araloyin Oshunremi, Kim Bodnia, Laura Haddock and Jennifer Amaka Pettersson.<\/p>\n \n\tThe film is produced by Rat Pack Filmproduktion (\u201cThe Wave,\u201d \u201cWickie\/Vicky,\u201d \u201cColonia Dignidad\u201d) in co-production with Constantin Film (\u201cGood Luck, Have Fun, Don\u2019t Die,\u201d \u201cRegretting You,\u201d \u201cResident Evil\u201d) and in collaboration with Westside, Beta Film, Noisemaker and Pakt Media.<\/p>\n \n\tSince it was founded two years ago, Epsilon\u2019s lineup of features has included animation title \u201cDreamers \u2013 The Hunt for Shadowclaw,\u201d \u201cThe Amazing Maurice 2,\u201d \u201cNessie Junior,\u201d \u201cBrave Heart Yakari\u201d and \u201cMimi and Harold \u2013 Out of Frame.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn addition to its animated slate, Epsilon also represents \u201cLassie and the Wild Bear\u201d and the Sky Original production \u201cRobin and the Hoods,\u201d with Naomie Harris and Gwendoline Christie.<\/p>\n \n\tThe company also handles global rights for Germany\u2019s biggest box-office hit of the past five years: the live-action adaptations of the bestselling book series \u201cThe School of Magical Animals,\u201d parts 3 and 4.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t\tPopular on Variety\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
