Get your ballots ready: It\u2019s time to vote<\/a> for the 2026 MLS All-Stars.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n I\u2019ve got my standouts below, arranged in the 4-3-3 formation that fans can select from through the May 21 voting deadline.<\/p>\n As always, I vote by evaluating the top-performing teams and players who are on contenders. I encourage you to do the same.<\/p>\n Who will represent the league against the LIGA MX All-Stars this summer in Charlotte? Let\u2019s hear your take<\/a> as the 2026 MLS All-Star Game presented by Chime takes shape.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Turner<\/a> is a huge reason why the Revs<\/a> are an early-season contender in the Eastern Conference. He\u2019s back near his 2021 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year form, and is pushing to start for the\u00a0United States<\/a> at the 2026 FIFA World Cup<\/a>. I hope New England keep him around beyond his current loan from Lyon, which ends in June.\u00a0<\/p>\n Honorable mention:<\/strong> I\u2019ve also got to highlight\u00a0Hugo Lloris<\/a>, who has a league-best eight shutouts with LAFC<\/a>. The 2018 World Cup champion has come up clutch all year.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Sanabria<\/a> has been a key addition for RSL<\/a>, who acquired him during the winter from Atl\u00e9tico de San Luis in LIGA MX. He’s added strong balance to the team and delivered end product with four assists. I expect him to represent Uruguay at this summer\u2019s World Cup.<\/p>\n Honorable mention:<\/strong> Year after year, Seattle<\/a>\u2019s Nouhou<\/a> keeps performing at a really high level. He\u2019s more than deserving of a shout.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Munie<\/a> has taken a big step forward this season and has a legitimate case for MLS Defender of the Year. He\u2019s really gifted athletically, puts out fires for the Supporters\u2019 Shield leaders, and has turned into a true leader.\u00a0<\/p>\n Ragen<\/a> should be on the USMNT radar after the World Cup. He\u2019s probably the league\u2019s most underrated center back over the past couple of seasons. Even with Yeimar<\/a> out injured, he has steadied Seattle\u2019s league-best defense (six goals against).<\/p>\n Honorable mentions:<\/strong> The Nashville SC<\/a> duo of Maxwell Woledzi<\/a> and Jeisson Palacios<\/a> continues to impress. Same with New England\u2019s Mamadou Fofana<\/a> and Osaze Urhoghide<\/a> from FC Dallas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n As much as we rave about Nashville’s three Designated Players, N\u00e1jar<\/a> is a big part of why they\u2019re still elite defensively. He is one of the most creative fullbacks in MLS and can unlock opponents with a pass or dribble.\u00a0<\/p>\n Honorable mention:<\/strong> If RSL\u2019s Zavier Gozo<\/a> were an out-and-out right back, I\u2019d put him as the starter. The 19-year-old homegrown has been absolutely ruthless in the final third.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n This is a no-brainer pick. Berhalter<\/a> was fantastic in 2025, earning MLS Best XI honors and emerging as a USMNT midfielder. He\u2019s followed that up with a team-best 11 goal contributions (4g\/7a) for the Whitecaps, boosting his case for a World Cup roster spot.<\/p>\n Honorable mentions:<\/strong> San Jose’s\u00a0Beau Leroux<\/a> and Red Bull New York<\/a>‘s Adri Mehmeti<\/a> are fantastic players. In particular, Mehmeti has showcased huge potential and seems like he\u2019ll play for a big-time European club one day.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n I\u2019ve got Messi<\/a> as an attacking midfielder for these purposes, even if many consider him a forward. The back-to-back Landon Donovan MLS MVP leads the league with 13 goal contributions (9g\/4a) and remains absolutely world-class. At times, he\u2019s single-handedly willed Inter Miami<\/a> to victory.<\/p>\n Has Charlotte<\/a> met their potential this year? Not yet. But that\u2019s no indictment on Biel<\/a>, who remains one of the premier No. 10s in MLS. He has a team-best 10 goal contributions (6g\/4a) and would be a more-than-deserving local pick, one the Bank of America Stadium crowd can rally behind at All-Star.<\/p>\n Honorable mention:<\/strong> Up until his recent groin injury, I had San Jose’s Niko Tsakiris<\/a>\u00a0as one of my attacking midfielders. The 20-year-old homegrown has been that good for the Earthquakes, who are the league\u2019s surprise team in 2026.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Let\u2019s not overthink this one: Musa<\/a>, Surridge<\/a> and Cuypers<\/a> are in the Golden Boot presented by Audi hunt. All three strikers are clinical in the box and can score in a variety of ways.\u00a0<\/p>\n Musa is pushing to represent Croatia at the World Cup, Surridge is scoring about every 50 minutes per match, and Cuypers is on a historic pace for the Fire.<\/p>\n Honorable mentions:<\/strong> Although I\u2019ve not been enamored with the MLS winger play this year, San Diego FC<\/a>‘s\u00a0Anders Dreyer<\/a>\u00a0remains elite. I\u2019d also be remiss not to shout out Nicol\u00e1s Fern\u00e1ndez Mercau<\/a>, who has smoothed over New York City FC<\/a>‘s concerns of having Alonso Mart\u00ednez<\/a> out injured long-term.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
