The main residence is a picturesque 3,100-square-foot house. It\u2019s joined by a guest cottage, a barn and tasting space designed for events, and a detached building primed for retail or hospitality use.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe main hall is so well crafted and is a beautiful custom home,\u201d said Jake Barney<\/a>, a Redfin principal agent who is listing the property. \u201cIt\u2019s flexible as a residence but also great for hosting smaller events. It\u2019s a unique opportunity because the four buildings can serve very different purposes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Part of what makes the estate so rare is its coveted A3 zoning, which allows for agricultural, residential, and retail uses\u2014a level of flexibility that\u2019s hard to find, Barney added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The guest cottage comes with a proven track record. Currently operating as an <\/span>Airbnb<\/span><\/a>, it maintains roughly 65% annual occupancy and ranks among the top 5% of homes in Virginia on the platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I show the property to people, they\u2019re so happy to be there,\u201d Barney said. \u201cA lot of them already know it because they\u2019ve visited before. It\u2019s a beautiful place.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Inside, the estate leans heavily into character and craftsmanship. Stained-glass windows salvaged from a church in Peru cast colorful light across soaring vaulted ceilings, while an antique red stove anchors the kitchen with old-world charm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Outside, a 1,200-square-foot deck, fire pit lounge, and parking for more than 50 vehicles make entertaining effortless.<\/span><\/p>\n

Home\u2019s Current Owner Says It Was Love at First Sight\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

Patty Pierleonardi, the home\u2019s current owner, first toured it during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her daughter convinced her to attend an open house simply to get out of the house during lockdown.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as we got back into the car, we looked at each other and said, \u2018We have to buy this,\u2019\u201d Pierleonardi said. \u201cThe bones of the property were amazing. It\u2019s quiet, tucked away from the road, and it feels completely secluded.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

After purchasing the property in 2020, Pierleonardi invested eight months and roughly $800,000 into transforming it. New roofing, landscaping, and parking areas were all part of the overhaul.<\/span><\/p>\n

Together, she and her daughter launched <\/span>Firefly Cellars<\/span><\/a>, a boutique winery and Airbnb, officially opening the property Memorial Day weekend in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe call it our secret gem of Loudoun County because it\u2019s off the beaten path,\u201d she said. \u201cYou can breathe easy when you\u2019re there.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Since then, the venue has hosted everything from baby showers and birthday parties to micro weddings and even Harry Potter-themed events.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve hosted everything under the sun,\u201d Pierleonardi said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now 61 and retired, Pierleonardi says stepping away isn\u2019t easy\u2014but she hopes the next owner falls for the estate the same way she did.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe put so much heart and soul into this,\u201d she said. \u201cThere\u2019s music playing while you\u2019re sitting on a swing looking out at the horses\u2014it\u2019s the kind of place where you forget where you are for a little while and just breathe.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

What she\u2019s proudest of, though, is that she and her daughter built it all from scratch.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe bought the property as-is and created everything ourselves,\u201d she said. \u201cWe wanted people to feel happy when they came here, and I think we accomplished that. We\u2019ll be very sad to let it go, but it\u2019ll make us happy knowing someone else loves it as much as we do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
