Dak Prescott and his former fianc\u00e9e, Sarah Jane Ramos, have reached a peaceful resolution regarding their custody matters after the NFL quarterback initiated legal action, as reported by Page Six.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s relationship hit a rocky patch due to Prescott\u2019s alleged \u201congoing infidelity issues,\u201d prompting Ramos to cancel their planned April 10 wedding in Lake Como, Italy, just weeks before the event. In light of these developments, Prescott filed a Suit Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship (SAPCR) on March 17 in Collin County, Texas, where they both reside.<\/p>\n

In Texas, an SAPCR is a legal action frequently employed by unmarried parents to delineate their rights and responsibilities towards their children, ensuring decisions are made in the children\u2019s best interest. It covers aspects such as child custody, visitation rights, and financial support for medical and dental needs.<\/p>\n

In his legal filing, Prescott maintained that it was in the best interest of their children for him and Ramos to be appointed as joint managing conservators of their daughters, Margaret, aged 2, and Aurora, who is 10 months old.<\/p>\n

Prescott argued in his petition that \u201cit is in the best interest of the children\u201d that he and Ramos \u201cbe appointed joint managing conservators\u201d of daughters Margaret, 2, and Aurora, 10 months.<\/p>\n

Ramos responded by submitting a motion for reset, claiming Prescott did not notify her of his SAPCR filing or the April 2 hearing until March 27.<\/p>\n

However, she and her legal team \u2014 including Miami-based family law attorney Raymond Rafool \u2014 showed up anyway.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re told the former couple agreed to discuss their issues outside of court.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe parties are working together. My client\u2019s very happy with the course that this matter is going,\u201d Rafool told Page Six on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Prescott\u2019s attorney did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n

As we previously reported, Ramos\u00a0pulled the plug on her destination nuptials last month immediately after their joint bachelor-bachelorette party upon discovering that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback was allegedly using incognito social media profiles to send inappropriate messages to multiple women and ex-flings.<\/p>\n

An insider previously told Page Six that Ramos believes Prescott had a history of communicating with other women during his relationship with her \u2014 but that she stayed with him hoping he would clean up his act for the sake of their family.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re told the certified wine and spirits specialist essentially issued Prescott an ultimate in January, begging him to clean up his act.<\/p>\n

Our insider added that Ramos was fully \u201cdone\u201d with the romantic aspect of her relationship with Prescott and wanted to focus on co-parenting their girls.<\/p>\n

After news of their split broke, rumors began circulating that Ramos refused to sign a prenuptial agreement.<\/p>\n

However, she\u00a0quickly shut that down\u00a0via an Instagram comment, insisting, \u201cThis had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumor to rest now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Prescott\u2019s attorney previously claimed to Page Six in a statement, \u201cThe decision to call off the wedding was mutual.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, when well-known people go through something personal, speculation tends to run wild, and the truth is often swept to the side. People should stop inventing stories and respect their privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prescott and Ramos began dating in May 2023. They welcomed Margaret in February 2024, got engaged eight months later and welcomed Aurora in May 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
