Looking back at the Xbox YouTube channel<\/a>, this remains one of the most viral trailers that Xbox has put out in 2026 (177k views), so it seems the game itself has a good chance of making the “Top Paid” charts when it releases in a few days’ time. It’s got Crimson Desert<\/a> to contend with though!<\/p>\n

At the moment, you can’t pre-order the digital version on the Xbox Store for whatever reason, but we know that it’ll cost \u00a329.99 \/ \u20ac34.99 \/ $39.99 when it arrives, with a Deluxe Edition and James Add-on also available at launch.<\/p>\n

Original Story:<\/strong> Just over a week ago, it was quietly revealed that a Thomas the Tank Engine game would be “coming soon” to Xbox consoles, and the reaction has been significant from fans over on the official Xbox YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

The game is specifically called “Thomas & Friends: Wonders of Sodor<\/strong>“, and it’s being made by the people behind the popular Train Sim World<\/a> titles (Dovetail Games). It’ll feature a Story Mode where you’ll need to complete tasks as Thomas & Friends characters, a Timetable Mode where you can “drive a day in the life of that character on the Island of Sodor”, a restriction-free Explore Mode, and a Shunting Mode where you take on Troublesome Trucks.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, Thomas & Friends: Wonders of Sodor has just passed 150,000 views on the official Xbox YouTube channel, which is the most of any<\/em> video on the channel in February so far. People are clearly hyped for this one!<\/p>\n

Honestly, we think this looks like a fun, chill game to check out on Xbox when it pulls into the platform later this year, and Dovetail Games knows<\/em> how to make a good train sim \u2014 there’s excellent pedigree going into this one!<\/p>\n
