What are your favorite moments from your football life?<\/strong><\/p>\nThe connections that I\u2019ve made, I will always remember coaches and my teammates as well as the new things I\u2019ve learned over the years to make me the player I am today.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nMother and grandmother, no matter what was happening they always made sure me and my sisters had clothes, food on the table, and a roof over our heads.<\/p>\n
What do you love the most about the game of football?<\/strong><\/p>\nThe game as a whole, the process of learning and getting better every day as well as helping me become mentally tough to overcome adversity.\u00a0<\/p>\n
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nDeion Sanders, because he was an exceptional athlete and his mentality was different. I also can learn a lot of things from him that I might not have learned yet.<\/p>\n
What are your favorite things about playing football for Washburn?<\/strong><\/p>\nMy teammates, coaches and the staff at the school. Everyone knows everyone and they really care for you as a person and player.<\/p>\n
What should we know about Evian Thompson\u00a0the person?<\/strong><\/p>\nI am an extrovert, love meeting new people and learning new things, I work hard with everything I do. Very lovable person and easy to get along with.<\/p>\n
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nI would say man to man schemes because I know I can lock down one side of the field.\u00a0<\/p>\n
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?<\/strong><\/p>\nFirst, I like to talk to God about my struggles and I know that its all for a reason so I stay calm.<\/p>\n
What would a team get in a player like you?<\/strong><\/p>\nI am very coachable and a great teammate\/person. I work hard and challenge others to push harder than what they already do. I also treat practice like a game so by game time I won\u2019t have to think, elite communication skills and IQ.<\/p>\n
What stands out about your film the most?<\/strong><\/p>\nI\u2019m not afraid to make plays, I am a great tackler, I trust my technique, and if I see it I\u2019m going to believe it.<\/p>\n
Who is the most underrated player you\u2019ve played with and why?<\/strong><\/p>\nBrian O\u2019Neal, he\u2019s a lockdown corner, elite IQ, great technique and not afraid to make a tackle.<\/p>\n
