Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has\u00a0revealed how support from the fans at Galatasaray compares to what he experienced during his time at Napoli,\u00a0Soccernet.ng<\/u><\/a>\u00a0reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Nigerian striker has enjoyed strong\u00a0support\u00a0at every club he has played\u00a0and his\u00a0performances on the pitch\u00a0has made his connection with the fans stronger.<\/p>\n Osimhen joined Napoli\u00a0from\u00a0French club Lille in 2020\u00a0and quickly became a fan favourite. His status grew even further during the 2022\u201323 season, when he played a key role\u00a0alongside\u00a0<\/u>Georgian forward K<\/u>hvicha Kvaratskhelia<\/u><\/a>\u00a0in helping the club win the Serie A title, ending a 33-year league drought.<\/p>\n He left Naples in 2024 and moved to Galatasaray initially on\u00a0a\u00a0loan\u00a0deal before the\u00a0move\u00a0was made permanent for \u20ac75 million last summer, setting\u00a0a new record\u00a0for\u00a0the most expensive transfer in Turkish football history.<\/p>\n Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has\u00a0received massive support\u00a0from the start, with fans turning out in large numbers to welcome him\u00a0at the airport upon his arrival in 2024 and has since become a popular player among the supporters.<\/p>\n The\u00a0<\/u>Galatasaray fa<\/u>ns recently unveiled a massive tifo banner featuring Osimhen and his late mother<\/u><\/a>,\u00a0during a UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool, which further strengthened their relationship with the Nigerian forward.<\/p>\n Speaking during the\u00a0360 Experience with Onah Kosi<\/strong>,\u00a0the 27-year-old\u00a0acknowledged that Napoli fans were also supportive, but insisted\u00a0that\u00a0the level of passion in Turkey\u00a0feels very\u00a0different.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s absolutely different. If I\u2019m being honest, it\u2019s absolutely different. I experienced that in Naples, when I talk about the club and its fans.
