During the event, first lady Melania Trump read a book to the children on the South Lawn.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

And Trump had a very deep conversation with the children about Biden’s autopen while they made arts and crafts.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

To backtrack, in June of last year, Trump requested an investigation into Biden<\/a> and his administration after claiming that the former president used an autopen to sign pardons and executive orders. He stated that Biden was “mentally declining” when he signed them.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

Of course, that doesn’t stop Trump from bringing it up any chance he gets, even to children.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

In a video posted on Twitter<\/a> (now known as X), Trump is sitting next to children at a table while they make arts and crafts. It seems he is signing a bunch of these crafts with a very large signature, which is maybe why he’s bringing up Biden’s autopen.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

He said, “You know, Biden would use the autopen.” A kid instantly replied with, “What?” “He had an autopen problem,” he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

“He was incapable of signing his name,” he continued. “So they’d follow him around with this big machine \u2014 you know what it was called? An AUTOPEN. And he’d have the autopen sign for him.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

“He’d take the paper, hand it to his guys, and sign it with an autopen \u2014 not too great, right? Better to sign it himself,” he continued.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

Right after, a child tried to get his attention by saying that she signed her paper herself, but Trump didn’t acknowledge her. Instead, he held up a paper that he had just signed and said, “Okay, that’s for the fake news,” and handed it to a kid. Next, he asked, “Who likes the fake news? Does anybody like the fake news?” A child then answered, “No!”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

Of course, people had some thoughts on this Easter discussion. “Broken man,” journalist Carl Quintanilla said.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h2>\n
