Copyright: Imago<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have come under fire again by the<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/soccernet.ng\/category\/super-falcons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong> Super Falcons<\/strong><\/a><strong> for their decision to postpone the WAFCON 2026 tournament just days before it was scheduled to kick off, Soccernet.ng reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tournament was scheduled to be held between 17 March and 3 April, but initial doubts arose after word spread that South Africa would host the competition instead of Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>However, all preparations had to be halted after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cafonline.com\/news\/caf-reschedules-the-dates-of-the-totalenergies-caf-women-s-africa-cup-wafcon-2026-to-25-july-16-august-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CAF officially announced on their website that the tournament had been shifted<\/a>. We left our clubs, hoping to go to the Wafcon. It\u2019s always on me to make sure I bring the music.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt keeps us moving, it gives us the morale. I love to be happy. When I\u2019m happy, you get the best of me. That boombox is like my happiness, you know? <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe lost the boombox in Morocco. We forgot it inside the bus when we were going to the airport. We have a new one now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWomen\u2019s football [in Africa] is growing, but there\u2019s this thing they always used to say: the universe isn\u2019t on a budget.
