After a long three days, LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier finally heard his name called in the NFL Draft. He was selected with the 249th overall pick in the seventh round by the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s how the NFL world reacted to Nussmeier finally hearing his name get called.<\/p>\n
After five seasons with the LSU Tigers, Nussmeier accrued a completion percentage of 64.0%, 7,699 passing yards, 52 touchdowns, and 24 interceptions.<\/p>\n
Funnily, he\u2019s not a rusher at all, so he has -153 rushing yards across his five seasons, because it accounts for yards lost when he\u2019s sacked. However, he does have five rushing touchdowns.<\/p>\n
After having a poor final season with a completion rate of 67.4%, 1,927 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and five interceptions, Nussmeier\u2019s draft stock fell dramatically.
