Rapper Dremo has disclosed why he quit Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), claiming that the record label\u2019s administration prioritised the CEO, singer Davido, over other artists.<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n In a recent interview with Echo Room, the rapper said that management\u2019s fixation on Davido hampered the success of other musicians on the label.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t collaborate with Idowest, who was my label mate and fellow rapper, because at that time we were all striving to stay afloat in the music industry.\n<\/p>\n \u201cEven DMW as a whole didn\u2019t collaborated much, we never had a record label album. The management focused only on Davido,\u201d he said.\n<\/p>\n Dremo also revealed that DMW didn\u2019t meet his expectations.<\/p>\n \u201cThe label [DMW] didn\u2019t give me money. It was like a platform. I didn\u2019t get what I wanted from the label,\u201d he said.\n<\/p>\n The rapper said his experience with DMW has made him choose to remain an independent artist.\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
