More than 50 players from across MLS are set to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n So, after each matchday, we thought it\u2019d be best to take a look at which of those guys are playing their best ball as we head toward this summer\u2019s big tournament.\u00a0<\/p>\n Here\u2019s who stood out in Matchday 8.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n At this point, you have to think Musa<\/a> has locked down a spot in the Croatian squad this summer. After a brief drought, Berterame<\/a> has now scored in back-to-back games for Inter Miami<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the middle of a multi-player battle for the final striker spot on Mexico\u2019s roster, there\u2019s a chance that El Tri take the player in the best form and call it a day. He\u2019s up to 1g\/4a on the season now.<\/p>\n Will that be enough to get him onto Uruguay’s World Cup squad? You guys get it at this point, right?<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Ok, yeah, the goal could politely be called a gift, but Luna<\/a> still dished out two assists as RSL<\/a> thumped San Diego<\/a>. This stretch has been all about proving he\u2019s healthy after he started the year injured. So far, so good. If he keeps putting in performances like he did this weekend against RBNY<\/a>, he\u2019s got a chance.
