My Reno Rules<\/a> is getting ready to rock the reality TV renovation landscape and change the fortunes of two lucky families forever with the biggest viewer giveaway in Australian television history.<\/p>\n

In this debut season hosted by Dr Chris Brown, four teams will transform two tired and rundown 1970s relics in the coveted Melbourne suburb of Bulleen into stylish, modern multi-milliondollar masterpieces.<\/p>\n

Two teams of two will tackle the revamp of each house, designing and renovating rooms each week to impress the competition\u2019s three expert judges.<\/p>\n

The houses will be judged by influential design guru Neale Whitaker, founder and CEO of Australia\u2019s largest buyer\u2019s agency Simon Cohen and interior stylist and author Julia Green.<\/p>\n

With their efforts tallied weekly on the leaderboard, the team with the most points at the end of the competition will win themselves a massive, life-changing cash prize of $100,000.<\/p>\n

Billionaire businessman Adrian Portelli<\/a> purchased the side-by-side dwellings ripe for revival and will monitor progress as he prepares to shake up the property game in an unprecedented way: by giving away the finished homes.<\/p>\n

Expect the unexpected from Portelli, as he ensures motivation levels on the building site match his expectations, in a way only he can.<\/p>\n

Meet the teams<\/h2>\n

House 1: Emma & Michelle and Nathan & Julia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Queensland mother and daughter duo Emma, 33, and Michelle, 56, bring a fiery passion set to heat things up on the My Reno Rules build site.<\/p>\n

The self-confessed \u201cMaltese terriers\u201d share an unbreakable bond as they prepare to channel their strengths into an unforgettable renovation project.<\/p>\n

Emma runs an interior design, property development and creative studio and while Michelle works in the hair and beauty industry, she has been hands-on with multiple home builds over the years.<\/p>\n

Victorian parents and keen renovators Nathan and Julia, both 34, are driven by their three daughters.<\/p>\n

They hope sacrificing family time and missing milestones will all be worth it if they can take home the win that would be a game-changer for their family.<\/p>\n

An electrician by trade, Nathan defers to stay-at-home mum Julia on the build site, as she has learnt most trades on their previous projects.<\/p>\n

House 2: Franky & Isaac and Mitch & Shaz<\/strong><\/p>\n

Melbourne best mates Franky, 38, and Isaac, 23, might consider themselves the underdogs of the competition, but what they lack in renovation experience, they make up for with their can-do attitude, laugh-a-minute enthusiasm and Greek generosity of spirit.<\/p>\n

Having worked together in Franky\u2019s AV business, the pair spent years side-by-side before Isaac moved on to become a junior foreman.<\/p>\n

For Queenslanders Mitch and Shaz, both 34, their ultimate why is their 13-year-old son, Lenny.<\/p>\n

The strong family unit of three means the world to each other and with the cost of living biting hard, the desire to give Lenny everything he deserves is what drives the newlyweds.<\/p>\n

With Mitch a landscape project manager and Shaz running her own interior design company, the pair will be in their element as they step into the renovating ring.<\/p>\n

My Reno Rules premieres on Tuesday, April 21 at 7.30pm on Seven and 7plus.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
