US President Donald Trump chose to skip three Easter Sunday services today, instead taking a tour of Washington DC – sparking further speculation over his health.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 79-year-old, who posted a bizarre ‘praise to Allah’ rant on one of the most important days of the year in the Christian calendar, instead took a ‘ceremoniously slow’ tour around Memorial Circle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the ride, he also stopped at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.<\/p>\n

In the nearby St. John\u2019s Episcopal Church, in Lafayette Square, dubbed the \u201cChurch of the Presidents,\u201d where Trump has frequently attended, Easter services were held at 8, 9, and 11am.<\/p>\n

Instead, it appears Trump decided to spend his morning on the phone with Fox News reporter Trey Yingst.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During an appearance on Fox & Friends, the foreign correspondent said he phoned the 79-year-old president on Sunday morning for a 15-minute call about his war on Iran.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe president tells me, \u2018if they don\u2019t make a deal, and fast, I\u2019m considering blowing everything up and taking over the oil,\u2019\u201d Yingst said from Tel Aviv, Israel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe President went on to say, \u2018you\u2019re going to see bridges and power plants dropping all over their country.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The president also spent the morning sending a barrage of menacing threats toward Iran.<\/p>\n

He wrote on Truth Social: \u201cTuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!!\u201d Trump, 79, began. \u201cOpen the F***ing\u2019 Strait, you crazy b*****ds, or you\u2019ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH!\u201d he raged. \u201cPraise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP\u201d<\/p>\n

His post has sparked severe backlash, with many questioning the President’s mental state.<\/p>\n

Outspoken broadcaster Piers Morgan<\/a> responded: “This is embarrassing. Delete it, President \u2069 – unless you want everyone to think you\u2019ve lost your marbles.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Former Republican congresswoman and Trump supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene urged members of the Trump administration to “intervene in Trump’s madness” and stated that his actions were “not making America great again, this is evil”.<\/p>\n

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer said Trump\u2019s rant resembled that of \u201can unhinged madman\u201d. He wrote on X: \u201cHappy Easter, America. As you head off to church and celebrate with friends and family, the President of the United States is ranting like an unhinged madman on social media.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s threatening possible war crimes and alienating allies. This is who he is, but this is not who we are. Our country deserves so much better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bernie Sanders, an independent US senator, called it \u201cdangerous and mentally unbalanced\u201d. He said on X: \u201cOne month after starting the war in Iran, this is the statement of the President of the United States on Easter Sunday. These are the ravings of a dangerous and mentally unbalanced individual. Congress has got to act NOW. End this war.\u201d<\/p>\n

Senator Chris Murphy also called it completely unhinged. He wrote on X: \u201cIf I were in Trump\u2019s Cabinet, I would spend Easter calling constitutional lawyers about the 25th Amendment. This is completely, utterly unhinged. He\u2019s already killed thousands. He\u2019s going to kill thousands more.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
