In the same year, he got his maiden call-up to Italy’s U-21 team at the age of 18.<\/p>\n For all of his brilliance in the English Premier League this season, he wasn’t called up to the Italian senior team. Led by Gattuso, the four-time FIFA World Cup winners missed out on a chance to qualify for the 2026 Mundial showdown in three consecutive tries.<\/p>\n Still, Kayode presses on to earn the call of the nation he was born; \u201cI want to earn it (call-up) & for that, I have to keep performing well with my club. So I only think about Brentford & IF I get the opportunity with Italy, I will know how to take advantage of it,\u201d as per the Athletic<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Nigeria, on the other hand, are looking to take advantage of the situation.
