\n\tLee and J.Crew are proving that good denim<\/a> never goes out of style, with the two iconic American brands coming together for a historic capsule collaboration<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Lee x J.Crew Collection features men\u2019s and women\u2019s jeans, jackets, Western shirts and skirts, combining Lee\u2019s more-than 137-year-old denim heritage with J.Crew\u2019s preppy East Coast style. While both brands have been staples in American wardrobes for years, this is the first time Lee and J.Crew have teamed up in any sort of capacity.<\/p>\n

\n\tLee has long been a favorite of both stylish stars and down-home musicians alike, with the brand having been seen on everyone from Joe Jonas to Carrie Underwood, and featuring Midland singer Mark Wystrach as the face of its collection with Buck Mason last year<\/a>. Bruce Springsteen also famously sported a Lee jean jacket with the sleeves cut off on his 1984 Rolling Stone<\/em> cover<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tNow, the denim brand is reworking its iconic pieces and silhouettes with J.Crew\u2019s clean and contemporary flair. As J.Crew creative director Olympia Gayot puts it, \u201cLee represents an essential part of American denim heritage. At J.Crew, my goal was to honor that legacy while refining it through our lens \u2014 polished but relaxed, thoughtful but unfussy,\u201d she says in a press release. \u201cWe focused on pieces that feel authentic and enduring, the kind of wardrobe staples you reach for instinctively and keep for years. This one features a straight leg and a 13.75-ounce selvedge material sourced from the Kaihara mill in Japan, one of the largest denim makers in the world.
