Photo by Marco SteinbrennerxImago<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Super Eagles and <a href=\"https:\/\/soccernet.ng\/tag\/werder-bremen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Werder Bremen<\/a> left-back Felix Agu has spoken about his future at Weser Stadion as his contract at the club edges closer to its end, Soccernet.ng reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old has played just 10 games for Daniel Thioune&#8217;s side this season, starting eight. Bundesliga. But of course we want to avoid a relegation at all costs,\u201d Agu said in an interview with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deichstube.de\/news\/werder-bremen-felix-agu-exklusiv-interview-zukunft-neuer-vertrag-foerderer-daniel-thioune-bundesliga-zr-94255386.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deichstube<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have it in our own hands. I think we&#8217;ve offered a lot in the last few games. That makes me feel positive that we still get enough points, leave at least three teams behind us and hopefully not have to tremble for too long.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose are definitely six-point games that can give us the biggest boost. These are important games for the head. At the Derby we also have something to make amends. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut now we focus on Cologne, which we also want to beat. But even after that, there are still points to be scored. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo team, except maybe Bayern, is unbeatable. Copyright: Imago<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The defender&#8217;s contract at the Weser Stadion runs out in the summer of 2027, and he&#8217;s revealed there&#8217;s been no contract talks yet, even though he&#8217;d love to stay at the club.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cYes, there was already an exchange, but not yet really concrete. We&#8217;ve spoken already, and they&#8217;ve told me they want me to stay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don&#8217;t know yet. I obviously feel pretty comfortable here. At the end of the season, I&#8217;ve been with Werder for six years. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou don&#8217;t stay that long for no reason.
