Zendejas and Club America visit Nashville SC on Tuesday in quarterfinal action, with both teams seeking a strong start to the series. The 28-year-old has continued to be a key threat for Andre Jardine\u2019s attack this season, scoring nine goals and adding five assists in all competitions.<\/p>\n
Although Zendejas hasn\u2019t scored or assisted in his last five appearances, he remains a consistent starter for the club.<\/p>\n
After not being called in for March U.S. men\u2019s national team duty, Zendejas will hope that a strong two months will be enough to force him into Mauricio Pochettino\u2019s final World Cup roster in May. <\/p>\n
