Three-time Israeli Champion Anthony Nwakaeme has played up Trabzonspor’s chances of winning the Turkish Super Lig after they sealed a stunning 2-1 win over Galatasaray<\/a> last night, Soccernet.ng reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now one of the senior team leaders at 37-years-old, Nwakaeme played 79 minutes against Okan Buruk’s side at Papara park, setting up the winner for Christian Nwaiwu.<\/p>\n

Paul Onuachu had initially broken the deadlock inside three minutes with a brilliant solo finish before Wilfred Singo levelled the scores three minutes after the restart.<\/p>\n

Galatasaray were without their star striker Victor Osimhen, who’s still recovering from a forearm fracture, which he just operated on. In his place, Mauro Icardi started, but the Argentine didn’t produce the desired effect.<\/p>\n

Trabzonspor’s victory takes them to within a point of Galatasaray on the Turkish Super Lig table, and Nwakaeme believes anything is possible with seven league games left to play.<\/p>\n
