Hamburger coach Merlin Polzin has confirmed that he did not substitute Super Eagles<\/a> attacker Philip Otele against Augsburg due to an injury, Soccernet.ng reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u200bOtele was handed a starting shirt when his Hamburger side welcomed Augsburg to Volksparkstadion for their Week 28 German Bundesliga clash.<\/p>\n \u200bBut despite their home advantage and the fact that both teams were evenly matched in terms of momentum and quality, Hamburger went into the break a goal down.<\/p>\n \u200bOtele had a golden opportunity to grab the equalizer in the 39th minute, but his effort was denied by Finn Dahmen.<\/p>\n \u200bUltimately, Die Rothosen carried the deficit into halftime.
