New York City-based contracting giant Turner Construction put a nearly $7 million lien on the <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>$180 million Fairmont Heritage Place The Cedars<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> condominium project in Hendersonville, North Carolina, per local media reports. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Turner crews stopped work<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> on the multifamily project, and removed a crane from the site in mid March, according to the Hendersonville Lightning.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Costs to deliver a new office building in New York City jumped 30% since 2020, largely due to high interest rates, rising materials costs and labor shortages, according to the report.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
