Tether, the issuer of the world\u2019s biggest stablecoin USDT, is moving ahead with a major funding plan. The company is targeting a massive $500 billion valuation and has reportedly given investors just 14 days to commit funds or walk away forever.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to reports, Tether<\/a> is making a final push to raise funds at a $500 billion valuation. The company has asked investors to confirm commitments within two weeks or walk away forever.<\/p>\n

The two-week deadline is no longer a negotiation. It is a now-or-never ultimatum. If enough investors join, the deal will move forward.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If not, Tether may delay the fundraising again.<\/p>\n

At a $500 billion valuation, Tether would be worth more than most major U.S. banks, including JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, and even Wells Fargo. The move also shows Tether is positioning itself as more than just a USDT issuer, reflecting its business goal.<\/p>\n

Currently, Tether\u2019s stablecoin Tether USDt has a market capitalization of over $184 billion<\/a>, making it the largest stablecoin in the world, compared to USDC\u2019s $32.1 billion and DAI\u2019s $5.3 billion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, the proposed $500 billion valuation is much higher than its current size. Industry experts say this reflects future growth and Tether\u2019s expansion beyond stablecoins.\u00a0<\/p>\n
