In a new Notes app post shared to the platform on Tuesday (March 17), the \u201cAll for Us\u201d singer aired his grievances with the music industry as a whole.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWE HOVER AROUND BIG STARS HOPING TO BE IN THEIR PLACE ONE DAY LIKE SNAKES,\u201d Labrinth begins in all caps. \u201cWAITING TO EAT THEIR OWNERS.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe singer continues by saying that hopeful artists who enter the music industry are turned into \u201cwolves of Wall Street\u201d and that creatives in the business will discard meaningful relationships with one another in favor of bigger opportunities. <\/p>\n \n\tLabrinth then asks a pointed question of the industry: \u201cWHO THE F\u2014 SAID THIS IS NORMAL OR OK TO TURN WHAT I CALL GODS NOISE (our music) INTO BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS?\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHe closes his post out with a simple phrase \u201cI DONT SUBSCRIBE.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn the caption, Labrinth expresses the desire to have \u201cmeaningful interactions\u201d and not wanting to use or be used by anyone. \u201cFake ain\u2019t a good business plan,\u201d he writes.<\/p>\n \n\tWhile Labrinth may not subscribe to how the music business treats artists, or how musicians treat others, several artists are subscribing to his philosophy. Within an hour of the post going up, Labrinth received support from other people in his industry and related ones.<\/p>\n \n\tSinger India.Arie responded with \u201cWe have all felt this! I really feel you,\u201d while former Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui commented three speaking head emojis.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI genuinely think about this every day,\u201d commented Dove Cameron. Fans of the artist also responded with praise, asking Labrinth who wronged him and letting him know they stand with and love him. <\/p>\n \n\tThis is not the first time in the last week Labrinth has taken to Instagram to express his feelings on the industry. On Friday, the singer slammed his record label<\/a> and HBO series Euphoria<\/a><\/em> in a similar text post. The now-deleted post read, \u201cI\u2019M DONE WITH THIS INDUSTRY \/ F\u2013K COLUMBIA<\/a> \/ DOUBLE F\u2013K EUPHORIA \/ I\u2019M OUT.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIt\u2019s unclear what led to either of Labrinth\u2019s Instagram posts. The British singer\/producer released his fourth studio album Cosmic Opera: Act I<\/em> in January \u2014 his second under Columbia, the Sony-owned label he\u2019s been signed to since 2019. Labrinth has worked as the lead score producer for Euphoria <\/em>since the show\u2019s beginning, also in 2019. Season 3 of the drama is set to premiere April 12 and Labrinth recently shared another now-deleted post where he potentially teased his score for the new season.<\/p>\n \n\tPrior to Euphoria <\/em>and Columbia, Labrinth was signed to Simon Cowell\u2019s record label Syco, with whom he delivered two albums.
