I&#8217;m really proud to be bisexual.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <em>You<\/em>\u00a0star\u2014who was previously married to <strong>Michael Mosley<\/strong>\u00a0from 2010 until 2013 and <em>Pitch Perfect<\/em>\u00a0costar <strong>Skylar Austin<\/strong>\u00a0from 2016 until 2019\u2014admitted that she&#8217;s gone through &#8220;a major evolution in my 40s&#8221; and she&#8217;s embracing &#8220;not being afraid of it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSure, there are times I feel like I am taking a risk and this is scary and I\u2019m doing it in a public forum,&#8221; she explained. &#8220;But to say, \u2018No, I only get one life and I want to be happy,\u2019 that\u2019s what life is all about.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"segment-text-only\">\n<p>While the\u00a0<em>How I Met Your Mother<\/em> alum acknowledged that this isn&#8217;t exactly how she pictured her life, she&#8217;s also more than ready to embrace where she&#8217;s found herself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou think you&#8217;ve got this idea of who you are and that&#8217;s how your life is going to go,\u201d Anna noted. \u201cAnd that&#8217;s happened to me several times in my life, where I thought that I knew what was happening. And it could have stopped in that way. I could have settled. I could have said, no, I&#8217;m done evolving.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<section>\n<p><span data-hook=\"thumb\"><\/span><span data-hook=\"adp-photo-agency\">Axelle\/Bauer-Griffin\/FilmMagic<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n<div data-testid=\"segment-text-only\">\n<p>It&#8217;s a sentiment that she&#8217;d previously expressed after confirming her romance with Jade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just want to share that it is never too late to evolve into your truest self,\u201d Anna told\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.out.com\/celebs\/out100-anna-camp-struggled-with-coming-out\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer\"><em>Out Magazine<\/em><\/a> in October. \u201cDismantling the mask of armor I had created for myself in order to navigate and survive taught me just that. I was merely surviving, not really living. My eyes started opening in the fifth or sixth grade. Just little things like that, you&#8217;re like, &#8216;Oh my God, this is just so f&#8211;ked.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It took a lot of unlearning, and there&#8217;s still things I&#8221;m still confused about, and [it&#8217;s] why I feel so uncomfortable being gay sometimes,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;I don&#8217;t get why this is such an issue for me. Maybe I haven&#8217;t said it, but I&#8217;m super queer.
