The \u201cStranger Things\u201d actress told Page Six exclusively that she was \u201cecstatically happy\u201d nearly a month after marrying Christian Lee Hutson<\/a> in a surprise wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean \u2026 love is the best,\u201d she told us Thursday at the SXSW 2026<\/a> world premiere of her new film, \u201cWishful Thinking.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd like, you know, even to connect it to [the characters in \u2018Wishful Thinking\u2019], if I had any advice for Charlie and Julia, it would be that they found a way to be more honest with each other about how they feel,\u201d Hawke added. <\/p>\n

\u201cBecause I really \u2014 I feel so lucky to have found my best friend and to have someone I can tell anything to. It makes something like getting married feel like, oh, of course, you know, not like what, and I\u2019m very, very, very lucky, so I\u2019m really happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hawke, 27, and Hutson, 35, tied the knot in a surprise Valentine\u2019s Day wedding<\/a> held at St. George\u2019s Episcopal Church in New York City last month. <\/p>\n

The \u201cDo Revenge\u201d star looked stunning at the ceremony, wearing a vintage-style boatneck gown with a dropped waist, a bow and a layered skirt.<\/p>\n

Maya\u2019s famous parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, attended the star-studded nuptials, with the \u201cBlack Phone\u201d star, 55, walking his daughter down the aisle. <\/p>\n

The \u201cKill Bill\u201d actress, also 55, looked gorgeous in \u201csomething blue\u201d<\/a> for the wedding, wearing an asymmetric floral\u00a0Erdem gown\u00a0and matching suede heels.<\/p>\n
