NAJEE HARRIS WORKING<\/h3>\n
Najee Harris was the Steelers\u2019 first-round pick in 2021, and he spent four seasons there. Harris was a good player, rushing for over 1,000 yards each year and never missing a game, but he wasn\u2019t a big playmaker, so the Steelers let him walk in 2025.<\/a> He signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, but it didn\u2019t go well, as Harris played only three games due to injuries.<\/p>\n Specifically, Harris tore his Achilles tendon, which is one of the worst injuries a player can suffer. It\u2019s hard to bounce back from, but Harris is working hard. Doug Hendrickson posted a video on Twitter<\/a> showing Harris running on a treadmill. He\u2019s still a free agent, but it looks like he\u2019s recovering well. Hopefully, he lands with a team for this upcoming season.<\/p>\n The Steelers made history playing in the NFL\u2019s first regular-season game in Ireland last year. They won the game, beating the Minnesota Vikings. Also, it meant more because of the Rooney family\u2019s connections to Ireland. It was one of Dan Rooney\u2019s greatest wishes before he passed away.<\/p>\n Even though the Steelers accomplished that goal, they aren\u2019t done working in Ireland. Steelers Ireland shared on Twitter<\/a> that the Steelers recently held a children\u2019s flag football event in the country. Former Steelers safety Will Allen was also in attendance, helping everyone enjoy the game. However, NFL teams are made up of more than just players. There are many members of organizations that help make things go.<\/p>\n The Steelers recently took time to give young minds a glimpse into what working in sports is like, hosting the Steelers Student Summit, as shared by team writer Teresa Varley on Twitter.<\/a> The event included students from 160 schools, 40 states, and three foreign countries.
