{"id":891555,"date":"2026-02-10T23:11:57","date_gmt":"2026-02-11T05:11:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2026\/02\/10\/jrl-wins-68-4m-brent-resi-job\/"},"modified":"2026-02-10T23:11:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T05:11:57","slug":"jrl-wins-68-4m-brent-resi-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsycanuse.com\/index.php\/2026\/02\/10\/jrl-wins-68-4m-brent-resi-job\/","title":{"rendered":"JRL wins \u00a368.4m Brent resi job"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"wrapper_sleeve\">\n<p><img width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ca.emap.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/02\/Argenta-A4099-250415-V01_1024x683_144dpi.webp\"  decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  alt=\"Argenta-A4099-250415-V01_1024x683_144dpi.webp\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>JRL Group has been awarded a \u00a368.4m contract by Clarion Housing Group to deliver 180 affordable homes in Brent, north London.<\/p>\n<p>The appointment followed Clarion\u2019s completion of the land purchase at Stonebridge Park, providing a route to deliver a scheme near the existing Argenta House that had previously stalled.<\/p>\n<p>Clarion secured the site through Argenta House (Stonebridge Park) LLP, a joint venture (JV) between Latimer, its development arm, and development partner Cervidae.<\/p>\n<p>The JV obtained planning permission for a 100 per cent affordable housing scheme opposite Stonebridge Park tube station before Clarion took full ownership of the site.<\/p>\n<p>Approved by Brent Council last November, the development will deliver 88 homes for social rent and 92 for shared ownership.<\/p>\n<p>Assael Architecture designed the scheme, according to data intelligence provider Glenigan.<\/p>\n<p>Clarion said it updated the plans to increase the number of homes on the site, including more family-sized accommodation, alongside public realm and connectivity improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Construction is scheduled to start in March 2026, with completion expected in early 2030.<\/p>\n<p>JRL Group director Kevin Keegan said the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.constructionnews.co.uk\/financial\/stubborn-inflation-deepens-loss-at-jrl-02-02-2026\/\">\u00a3785m-turnover contractor<\/a> had been appointed to deliver \u201cmuch-needed housing in a sustainable location with great transport links\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Clarion group development officer Richard Cook said: \u201cBy now acquiring the site and moving directly into a construction contract, we are ensuring this long-stalled scheme becomes a deliverable project.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTaking full ownership of the site allows Clarion to ensure these homes remain affordable for generations to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Source: Clarion Housing Group announcement<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.constructionnews.co.uk\/buildings\/jrl-wins-68-4m-brent-resi-job-09-02-2026\/\" class=\"button purchase\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Read More<\/a><br \/>\n Ben Vogel<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JRL Group has been awarded a \u00a368.4m contract by Clarion Housing Group to deliver 180 affordable homes in Brent, north London.
