The album arrived today, January 30, 2026, and marks a powerful conclusion to a journey that has unfolded over more than a year. <\/p>\n

Translated from isiZulu as A Star Amongst the Stars<\/em>, the 11-track body of work follows the live EPs Inkanyezi<\/em> released in January 2025 and Inkanyezi 2.0,<\/em> which dropped in September 2025. Unlike traditional rollouts, many of the songs on the album were first introduced to audiences during Sjava<\/a>\u2019s 2025 The 2018 Tour<\/em>. Fans were given early access to raw, emotional performances long before the tracks were refined through studio polish, mixing, and mastering. <\/p>\n

To celebrate the release, Sjava hosted an intimate and immersive listening session on Wednesday evening at the Anglo American Wits Dome<\/strong> planetarium in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. Guests, including close collaborators and industry peers, lay back beneath the vast dome as the album played in full. Above them, galaxies and stars swirled across the ceiling in a breathtaking astronomy display. The setting amplified the album\u2019s celestial theme, with many attendees describing the experience as surreal and deeply moving.<\/p>\n
