In the film, when an estranged father (Phillippe) and daughter (Hoeferle) go off for college tours, they get more than they bargained for when they get lost and stumble across a hostile, off-the-grid community. <\/p>\n\n\tPer the official synopsis: An ex-special forces operative (Phillippe) goes off-the-grid when his daughter (Hoeferle) is kidnapped by a violent community. Alone and outnumbered, he\u2019s forced to use every skill he has to track them down, take them apart, and bring his daughter home.<\/p>\n

\n\tJaiden Kaplan came up with the idea for\u00a0One Mile<\/em>\u00a0while she and her dad were on a college tour in the Northeast in 2019 and were driving on a particularly desolate highway surrounded by woods on one side and half-frozen lakes on the other. Jaiden Kaplan served as a producer on the film. <\/p>\n\n\tOne Mile<\/em> is directed and produced by Adam Davidson. Phillippe and Davidson produce alongside Jaiden Kaplan.
