<\/p>\n<p>When de\u2009Blasio wasted $1 billion on his wife\u2019s pointless Thrive mental-health program? <\/p>\n<p>When Mayor Eric Adams sheltered and fed 210,000 migrants from President Joe Biden\u2019s open border?<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Wall Street bankers, tech-company innovators and dreamers of all sorts who want to live in this city, Mamdani has a tax base of which most leaders can only dream.<\/p>\n<p>To him, it is still not enough. <\/p>\n<p>And every problem is their fault.<\/p>\n<p>Mamdani spun a dystopian fantasyland in his speech, asking \u201cwho does New York belong to\u201d and then claiming \u201cfor much of our history . . . it belongs only to the wealthy and well-connected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What is he talking about?! <\/p>\n<p>We must have missed the City Council meetings where committee chairs wore cravats and monocles. <\/p>\n<p>For much of our recent history, New York has had one-party rule: the Democrats. <\/p>\n<p>Is he suggesting Koch, Dinkins, de Blasio and Adams were oligarchs?<\/p>\n<p>Mamdani railed against \u201ccrowded classrooms and public-housing developments where the elevators sit out of order.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Who is to blame for that, we wonder?
