Caleb Williams<\/a> and the Chicago Bears<\/a> are looking strong heading into their Divisional Round showdown against the LA Rams. They started poorly against the Green Bay Packers<\/a> on Wild Card Weekend, but made an impressive recovery in the fourth quarter to send Green Bay packing.<\/p>\n

Jon Gruden Believes Rams Will Lose To \u2018Young Brett Favre\u2019 Caleb Williams and the Bears<\/h2>\n

There\u2019s a massive difference between the weather in LA and Chicago, and Gruden believes that will be the deciding factor in this Divisional Round matchup. The Bears are used to playing in cold conditions, whereas the Rams are accustomed to California\u2019s warm weather.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s gonna be hard to throw,\u201d Gruden insisted on \u2018Viva La Stool<\/a>.\u2019 \u201cYou\u2019re coming from Los Angeles, you\u2019re coming from that little dome you live in. You\u2019re gonna get off the bus and the first thing you\u2019re gonna say is, \u2018Holy sh** [it\u2019s cold].\u2019 The wind is blowing off this lake, it\u2019s called Lake Michigan \u2014 it\u2019s 17 mph.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been a very long time since the Chicago Bears last won a playoff game; the city\u2019s last playoff win was in the 2010 season under Lovie Smith. Jay Cutler was still the quarterback, as the Bears beat the Seattle Seahawks<\/a> 35-24 in the Divisional Round. However, they folded in the NFC Championship game against eventual Super Bowl champions the Packers.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Chicago Bears fan base has been waiting for this,\u201d Gruden continued. \u201cThis place is gonna go nuts. It\u2019s gonna be the Bears \u2014 it\u2019s destiny.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams has made a name for himself as a comeback player, having come back from behind to win several games before. He did it again to beat Green Bay in the Wild Card Round, hanging 25 points on Matt LaFleur\u2019s men en route to a 31-27 victory.<\/p>\n

\u201cCaleb Williams, seven times at the end of games, has pulled it out of nowhere,\u201d Gruden noted. \u201cThis guy\u2019s a young Brett Favre, I\u2019m telling you. Last week, fourth-and-eight, he\u2019s running to his left, he breaks a tackle and throws a bullet. It\u2019s the greatest throw I\u2019ve ever seen\u2026 Bear Down! The Bears are gonna win this game 20-17.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bears will, nonetheless, have a mountain to climb in the Divisional Round. The Rams<\/a> are hard-boiled from the schedule they\u2019ve faced this season. Sean McVay\u2019s men have proven their mettle, and it\u2019ll be interesting to see if Ben Johnson\u00a0gets the better of the seasoned McVay in their first encounter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
