And looking at the Bitcoin chart, it may have in fact bottomed on the 25th at $86,325. It\u2019s up about 5% since then although that\u2019s no huge move. More on that in a minute.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The bigger sign from Davos is in this tweet. As big, global, legacy banking and crypto converges into some type of future finance, it means big growth numbers for adoption.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">2026 is shaping up as crypto\u2019s mainstream adoption year<\/p>\n<p>TLDR: Geopolitical chaos isn\u2019t slowing institutional crypto adoption. The biggest banks in the world are telling us they need crypto rails to do what they do better, faster, and cheaper. They are telling us crypto is the new global financial rail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>You don\u2019t have time to be bearish given how bullish this is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And it\u2019s not just general bullishness. It\u2019s being bullish on<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Stablecoins and Stablecoin issuers<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Payment platforms<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Crypto Neobanks like <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AviciMoney\/status\/2015855658655211713?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Avici<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>RWA and the tokenization of everything<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Privacy, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altcoinbuzz.io\/?s=rwa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RWA<\/a> wants it bad.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">From proof of concept to fully live.<\/p>\n<p>J.P. Commercial banking is coming onchain. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cW6tMPLvsw\">pic.twitter.com\/cW6tMPLvsw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Base (@base) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/base\/status\/1988621702876581926?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 12, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>For example, on stablecoins, you may have missed that JP Morgan is issuing a stablecoin $JPMD. It\u2019s for institutional transfers. But more importantly, it\u2019s NOT private. They launched it on Base. Again, very bullish both for the bank and for Base.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>You still have to pick wisely. Pick from sectors like above or major projects who will receive most of the benefits of this growth. And you can do well just by doing that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Less in the memes and shitcoins and more in quality and strong network effects.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Capital Rotation in Altcoins ETFs<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span>Just this week, a capital rotation started in ETFs. The move was from BTC and ETH and into alts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While Bitcoin and Ethereum had net outflows, Solana and XRP ETFs had net inflows. This is one of the first positive signs we\u2019ve seen of the resilience for the ETFs from the \u201cother alts\u201d. Other being not Ethereum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Coinbase believes ETFs for altcoins will be a huge factor in adoption in 2026 to get people into crypto. And we agree.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>From our friends at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinglass.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coinglass<\/a>, you can see over the last 2.5 weeks there\u2019s still a net inflow for Bitcoin ETFs of 605,000 BTC. That\u2019s good. Yet, over the last week, the numbers are negative. At least some of those net outflows are going into other promising ETFs like<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Solana and XRP as mentioned earlier<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span>Sui, Avalanche, Chainlink, and Hedera. All altcoins with multiple ETFs and who should benefit most from ETF growth.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/i\/trending\/2015776962669650302\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AVAX<\/a> just launched a big ETF with Van Eck. Cathie Wood\u2019s ARK Invest is adding more ETFs as well as adding more crypto to existing positions. They are also adding Coinbase and Circle stock.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>These are the things to look for with the majors such as those in the Top 20 that have ETFs investing in them. They are the ones that pump the most if this trend continues<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong>The Bottom Could Be In On Blue Chip Altcoins<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span>As I said earlier, it does look like Bitcoin has bottomed on the 25th at $86,325.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>How does this look historically? <\/span><span>Bitcoin is below many of the most popular moving averages traders follow.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">BITCOIN \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BTC&#038;src=ctag&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BTC<\/a> rally to Mars. \ud83d\ude80\ud83d\ude80\ud83d\ude80<\/p>\n<p>Recent highs hit $126,296 in 2025, with 50-day and 200-day moving averages at $90,108 and $105,122, signaling short-term consolidation after a yearly low near $74,420. Year-to-date, BTC is down slightly amid volatility from ETF flows and\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/GDpPCnMkTg\">pic.twitter.com\/GDpPCnMkTg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Benson Chan (@fincrimehunter) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/fincrimehunter\/status\/2015968001431109681?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 27, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>The 50-day and 200-day moving averages are 2 of the most common for short and long term trends. And at $90k and $105k, respectively, Bitcoin is trading under both averages but just slightly under the 50 day average..<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Usually this is bearish. But there are signs of positive short term momentum as well as long term bullishness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>That said, the charts show signs of neutral or downward movement, too. Two important moving averages just crossed over each other, and that\u2019s usually bearish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>A quick reminder though. If your investment time frame is 3 years or longer, then none of this matters except being below the moving averages tells us it is a good time to buy. For a long term hold.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Plus all the ETFs I mentioned the last section are reducing the effect of the 4 year cycle. Cycles are less pronounced and generally more bullish. <\/span><span>So if you are a long term holder, or are looking to get into Bitcoin at a good price, the bottom could be in here with likely more choppy trading days ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And for Ethereum, we bounced off a big multi-year low in the ETH-BTC chart back last April. So Ethereum is slowly gaining against Bitcoin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>These slow gains are while Blackrock and others on Wall Street have already chosen Ethereum. It\u2019s the place to tokenize stocks and other assets for banks. Blackrock made its choice. JP Morgan did too with ETH Layer 2 Base. The choice for big institutions is clear.
