A seven-match winning streak as Venezia sitting top of the Serie B standings. <\/p>\n

Gianluca Busio continued his productive run in the starting lineup on Saturday, scoring once in Venezia\u2019s 2-1 win over Carrarese. Busio celebrated his fourth goal of the campaign, while also creating the most chances of any player (3) and completing the most passes (79). <\/p>\n

Busio\u2019s long-range finish after 25 minutes propelled the hosts in front 1-0. The 23-year-old gathered possession just outside of the Carrarese box before unleashing a powerful left-footed shot off of the left post and in<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With four goals under his belt this season, the former Sporting KC homegrown midfielder has now doubled his production from all of last season.<\/p>\n

Despite Luis Hasa equalizing for Carrarese after halftime, Venezia would use an 82nd-minute winning goal from Joel Schingtienne to claim all three points.<\/p>\n

Busio has now made 22 appearances for the current league-leaders this season. <\/p>\n

Up next for Busio and Venezia is a trip to second-place Frosinone on February 7.<\/p>\n

In England, Antonee Robinson<\/strong> and Fulham suffered a road loss at Manchester United. Brenden Aaronson<\/strong> and Leeds United were hammered by Arsenal. Patrick Agyemang<\/strong> scored in Derby County\u2019s rout over Bristol City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In Italy, Weston McKennie<\/strong> scored his fourth goal of 2026 <\/a>in Juventus\u2019 win over Parma. <\/p>\n

In France, Tanner Tessmann<\/strong> helped Lyon to a home win over Lille while Mark McKenzie <\/strong>went the distance in Toulouse\u2019s home draw with Auxerre. Korbin Shrader<\/strong> logged 90 minutes in Lyon\u2019s 1-0 win over PSG.<\/p>\n

In Germany, Malik Tillman<\/strong> scored for the second match in a row<\/a> as Bayer Leverkusen defeated Eintracht Frankfurt in Bundesliga play. Joe Scally<\/strong> and Borussia Moenchengladbach earned a road draw with Werder Bremen.<\/p>\n

In Spain, Johnny Cardoso <\/strong>went the distance in Atletico Madrid\u2019s road draw with Levante. Alex Freeman <\/strong>was named to the Villarreal bench for the first time. <\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Sergino Dest<\/strong> helped PSV to a crucial win over Feyenoord. Marlon Fossey <\/strong>made his return for Standard Liege, as did Rokas Pukstas <\/strong>for Hajduk Split. George Bello<\/strong> scored once and assisted once in LASK\u2019s derby victory over BW Linz. Danny Leyva<\/strong> featured off of the bench but Necaxa lost to Club America. Erik Palmer-Brown<\/strong> did not feature in Panathinaikos\u2019 league win on Sunday.<\/p>\n
