Photo by IMAGO <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Monaco and Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad are closing in on a deal that could see <a href=\"https:\/\/soccernet.ng\/tag\/nigeria\">Nigerian<\/a> forward George Ilenikhena become the most expensive teenage footballer in the country\u2019s history, Soccernet.ng reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to transfer market insider <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FabriceHawkins\/status\/2018291698883846460\" target=\"_blank\">Fabrice Hawkins<\/a>, the two clubs have reached an agreement in principle, with Al Ittihad prepared to pay a fee in the region of \u20ac33m for the highly-rated 19-year-old. His pace, strength and eye for goal have made him an attractive long-term option for Al Ittihad, who are already planning for life beyond Karim Benzema. The former <a href=\"https:\/\/soccernet.ng\/tag\/real-madrid\">Real Madrid<\/a> striker is expected to leave the club following contractual disagreements, while N\u2019Golo Kant\u00e9 is also close to a move to Fenerbah\u00e7e.<\/p>\n<p>Despite potential departures, Al Ittihad still boast significant attacking depth, including former <a href=\"https:\/\/soccernet.ng\/tag\/Tottenham\">Tottenham<\/a> winger Steven Bergwijn and ex-Aston Villa forward Moussa Diaby. Iheanacho was barely 20 when Leicester City paid around \u20ac28m to sign him from Manchester City in 2017.
