TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:<\/strong> Signing<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n Inter Miami CF<\/a> have acquired forward Germ\u00e1n Berterame<\/a> from LIGA MX powerhouse CF Monterrey, the reigning MLS Cup presented by Audi champions announced Friday.<\/p>\n The 27-year-old Mexican international, who was born in Argentina, arrives for a reported $15 million transfer fee.\u00a0<\/p>\n Berterame is under contract through the 2028-29 season with an option for 2029-30. He’s also competed for Atl\u00e9tico de San Luis in LIGA MX, as well as Patronato and San Lorenzo in Argentina.\u00a0<\/p>\n With two goals in eight caps for Mexico, Berterame is chasing a roster spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n Berterame joins an attack piloted by Messi, the back-to-back Landon Donovan MLS MVP, along with fellow FC Barcelona legend\u00a0Luis Su\u00e1rez<\/a>, Mateo Silvetti<\/a> and Tadeo Allende<\/a>.<\/p>\n Beyond Berterame, Inter Miami have bolstered their roster this winter by signing goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair<\/a>, midfielder David Ayala<\/a>, and\u00a0defenders Sergio Reguil\u00f3n<\/a>, Facundo Mura<\/a> and Micael<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Inter Miami’s 2026 season begins with a Feb. 21 visit to LAFC<\/a>\u00a0(9:30 pm ET |\u00a0Apple TV<\/a>).
