\u00a0A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe
\nIgbokwe, has said that billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote has defeated those
\nhe called \u201cbandits\u201d in Nigeria\u2019s petroleum sector.<\/p>\n

Igbokwe also said that people he described as bandits in the
\npower generation, transmission, and distribution sector would be the next to be
\ntackled.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Posting on X, he wrote: \u201cAlhaji Aliko Dangote has defeated
\nthe bandits in the Petroleum industry hands down.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

\u201cThe next to deal with new are the bandits in the power
\nGeneration, Transmission and Distribution sector that are dealing with us now.\u201d<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Dangote recently wrote to the
\nIndependent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).<\/o:p><\/p>\n

He accused the former Chief Executive Officer of the
\nNigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA),
\nFarouk Ahmed, of spending $5 million on his children\u2019s school fees in
\nSwitzerland.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

The ICPC confirmed on Tuesday that it has received the
\npetition<\/o:p><\/p>\n
