Super Eagles striker Akor Adams<\/a> took to social media to congratulate compatriot Salim Fago Lawal<\/a> following his high-profile transfer from Croatian outfit Istra 1961 to Czech giants Viktoria Plzen, Soccernet.ng reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u200bOn Wednesday, Salim Fago finalized a record-breaking move to Viktoria Plzen in a deal worth \u20ac2.4 million.<\/a><\/p>\n

The former Flying Eagles star has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the last four years, transitioning from Nigeria’s Mavlon to Istra, and now joining one of the most prestigious clubs in the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n

\u200bHis clinical performances for Istra earned him a maiden Super Eagles call-up for the recently concluded 2025 Africa Cup of Nations<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He made one appearance for Nigeria during their campaign, which saw the three-time champions secure a bronze-medal finish.<\/p>\n

\u200bNow in the Czech top flight, Fago will be looking to make an immediate impact. Following the announcement, he was congratulated bh fellow international teammate, Akor Adams.<\/p>\n
