But while the reigning Turkish champions have been consistently linked with the Super Eagles star, they are yet to submit an official bid.<\/p>\n<h2>Soccer \u200bThe Senegalese Hero Standing in Raphael Onyedika\u2019s Way<\/h2>\n<p>\u200bAccording to a report from <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/i\/status\/2015742413680132269\" target=\"_blank\">Pesindeyiz Galatasaray<\/a>, the Lions are prioritizing the signing of Senegalese midfielder Pape Gueye from Villarreal.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bRecall that the 27-year-old midfielder was the hero for the Teranga Lions, scoring the decisive goal that helped Senegal defeat Morocco in the final of the recently concluded AFCON 2025. Gueye still has two years left on his current contract, and Villarreal are reluctant to let him leave given his importance to the squad.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bDespite the hurdles, Galatasaray remains optimistic about striking a deal for the Senegalese international.
