Inter Miami CF<\/a> begin their Champions Tour on Saturday with a preseason friendly at Peruvian Primera Divisi\u00f3n powerhouse Alianza Lima.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Saturday’s game marks the first of three preseason tests in South America for the 2025 MLS Cup presented by Audi champions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n They’ll also visit Colombia’s Atl\u00e9tico Nacional on Jan. 31 and meet Ecuadorian powerhouse Barcelona de Guayaquil on Feb. 7.\u00a0<\/p>\n It all builds towards Miami’s eagerly anticipated 2026 MLS season debut on Feb. 21, when they visit Son Heung-Min<\/a> and LAFC<\/a> at the legendary Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (9:30 pm ET | Apple TV<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Inter Miami enter 2026 with sky-high expectations after winning MLS Cup and seeing Lionel Messi<\/a> become the first back-to-back<\/a> Landon Donovan MLS MVP.\u00a0<\/p>\n Key winter signings include goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair<\/a>, midfielder\u00a0David Ayala<\/a>, and defenders\u00a0Micael<\/a>,\u00a0Facundo Mura<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Sergio Reguil\u00f3n<\/a>. They’ll also reportedly<\/a> soon acquire CF Monterrey striker Germ\u00e1n Berterame as a Designated Player.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Additionally, the club re-signed legendary Uruguayan striker Luis Su\u00e1rez<\/a> while fully acquiring Messi’s Argentina teammate\u00a0Rodrigo De Paul<\/a> and Audi MLS Cup Playoffs record-breaking<\/a> goalscorer Tadeo Allende<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Peru’s second-most decorated side with 25 league titles, Alianza Lima are also in preseason mode before their Liga 1 campaign begins in late January.\u00a0<\/p>\n Alianza, who will also compete in this year’s Copa Libertadores tournament, feature Peru national team legend Paolo Guerrero.\u00a0<\/p>\n Alianza are Miami’s second Peruvian preseason opponent in as many years.
