I have to say, overlook this at your own peril. If the Huskers win, they will hit the 20-win mark with 11 games to spare. Usually, 20 wins is good enough to get you into the NCAA Tournament.<\/p>\n

Minnesota is a scrappy bunch who has played a lot of close games recently. Luckily for Nebraska, they are used to those, particularly on the road in conference play. The Gophers do have balanced scoring, which Nebraska can counter, but hasn\u2019t really seen a lot of from a defensive standpoint. Again, sleep on the Gophers at your own risk. I think Nebraska gets to 20-0\u2026barely. Score Prediction: Nebraska 77 Minnesota 73<\/strong><\/p>\n Nebraska Cornhuskers (24\/RV)<\/strong> vs. Illinois Fighting Illini (RV\/RV)<\/strong> The ladies are in a bit of funk right now. They lost to a Wisconsin team that, while much improved, should have been the relief game amidst a schedule packed with ranked opponents. Illinois is a difficult matchup with a coach that has their program heading in the right direction. Even though Illinois lost a lot of their star power from a year ago, they are still sitting in a good spot in the NET ranking and conference\/overall record.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n My prediction? If the ladies come out as flat as they did against the Badgers, this could be an ugly game. If they can summon a little more effort, I think they can pull out a close win and get a bit of their mojo back.
