Vice President JD Vance praised YouTuber Nick Shirley\u2019s reporting on fraud in the state of Minnesota, stating that Shirley had \u201cdone far more useful journalism\u201d than any of the 2024 winners of Pulitzer Prizes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis dude has done far more useful journalism than any of the winners of the 2024 @pulitzercenter prizes,\u201d Vance wrote in a post<\/a> on X.<\/p>\n

Vance\u2019s post came in response to a video posted<\/a> on X, in which he and his team exposed \u201cMinnesota fraud.\u201d Shirley explained that he and his team \u201cuncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHere is the full 42 minutes of my crew and I exposing Minnesota fraud, this might be my most important work yet,\u201d Shirley wrote. \u201cWe uncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day. Like it and share it around like wildfire! Its time to hold these corrupt politicians and fraudsters accountable.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a post<\/a> on X, conservative activist Benny Johnson pointed out that Shirley had \u201cexposed over $100M in Minnesota Somali fraud, funneled through fake daycares and healthcare fronts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Breitbart News\u2019s Lowell Cauffiel reported<\/a> that Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) demanded answers from Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) \u201cafter a video went viral of a YouTube journalist confronting employees of an alleged daycare center receiving millions in federal aid for up to 99 kids but showing no signs of activity.\u201d:<\/p>\n

YouTuber Nick Shirley visited the \u201cQuality Learning Center\u201d in South Minneapolis, reporting that the \u201clearning\u201d center hadn\u2019t even spelled its name correctly on its sign, with \u201clearning\u201d misspelled as \u201clearing.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the citizen reporter approached the facility, an unidentified woman yelled, \u201cDon\u2019t open up,\u201d incorrectly claiming Shirley and the man with him were Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Shirley\u2019s reporting comes after the City Journal<\/em> released a report<\/a> in November that found that \u201cfederal counterterrorism sources\u201d had confirmed that the Somalian community in Minnesota was sending \u201cmillions of dollars in stolen funds\u201d back to Somalia. The funds were also ending up \u201cin the hands of the terror group Al-Shabaab\u201d:<\/p>\n

In many cases, the fraud has allegedly been perpetrated by members of Minnesota\u2019s sizeable Somali community. Federal counterterrorism sources confirm that millions of dollars in stolen funds have been sent back to Somalia, where they ultimately landed in the hands of the terror group Al-Shabaab. As one confidential source put it: \u201cThe largest funder of Al-Shabaab is the Minnesota taxpayer.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Since the report was released, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has announced<\/a> that the Treasury Department would be investigating reports that Minnesota taxpayer funds was ending up in the hands of Al-Shabaab.<\/p>\n

Education Secretary Linda McMahon has also called<\/a> for Walz to resign over reports of massive education fraud occurring within the state\u2019s college system.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
