TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:<\/strong> Transfer<\/em><\/p>\n

Orlando City<\/a> have transferred striker Luis Muriel<\/a> to Colombian side Atl\u00e9tico Junior, the club announced Thursday.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old Colombian international’s exit opens a Designated Player roster spot for Orlando. Mart\u00edn Ojeda<\/a> and Marco Pa\u0161ali\u0107<\/a> are their remaining DPs.<\/p>\n

Muriel spent two seasons with Orlando, arriving in 2024<\/a> from Italian Serie A side Atalanta. He produced 17g\/18a in 84 matches (all competitions) for the Lions.<\/p>\n

Before beginning his nearly 15-year career in Europe, Muriel developed in Junior’s academy.<\/p>\n
