TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:<\/strong>\u00a0Trade<\/em><\/p>\n Minnesota United FC<\/a> have acquired winger Tom\u00e1s Chancalay<\/a> in a cash-for-player trade from the New England Revolution<\/a>, the clubs announced Friday.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n In exchange for Chancalay, New England will receive $100,000 and retain a sell-on percentage if the player is transferred out of MLS. The move frees up a Designated Player slot for the Revs.\u00a0<\/p>\n Chancalay is signed with Minnesota through the 2027-28 MLS season with an option for 2028-29.<\/p>\n “We\u2019re happy to welcome Tom\u00e1s Chancalay to Minnesota United,\u201d said MNUFC chief soccer officer and sporting director Khaled El-Ahmad.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s a versatile attacking player with MLS experience who has the ability to impact games in a variety of ways. Robin Lod<\/a>, the club’s all-time leading scorer, also departed in free agency<\/a> to Chicago Fire FC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n The Loons finished fourth in the Western Conference with 58 points in 2025, reaching the Conference Semifinals of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n
