Well, probably not, they are all starting to get a teensy<\/em> bit samey, aren\u2019t they?<\/p>\n But heck, we\u2019ve been looking forward to Perfect World Entertainment\u2019s ostentatiously named Neverness to Everness<\/a> (or, for brevity, NTE) for quite some time.<\/p>\n And you\u2019ll have the opportunity to try it for yourself soon on PS5, with the Chinese company announcing an upcoming \u2018Co-Ex Test\u2019 (or beta) which will be available on Sony\u2019s console.<\/p>\n To participate, simply pre-register on the release\u2019s official website<\/a>, and then click the \u2018Join Beta\u2019 option. You\u2019ll need to fill in a brief questionnaire, and it\u2019s worth noting you may<\/em> not be selected, so entering your information isn\u2019t a guarantee.<\/p>\n The game\u2019s being described as a \u201csupernatural open world RPG\u201d, with its closest analogue being Zenless Zone Zero<\/a>, we suppose.<\/p>\n But unlike HoYoverse\u2019s urban effort, this open world has vehicles and a full city life simulation system. You\u2019ll be able to buy and rent apartments, for example, and decorate them to your tastes.<\/p>\n This trailer shows off some of the activities you\u2019ll find in the sandbox, such as arcade games, fishing, mahjong, and more. It also introduces a bunch of characters, some of which \u2013 like Mint \u2013 we\u2019ve met before. Others are new.<\/p>\n One detail worth reiterating about this game is that its gacha system will do away with the 50% chance mechanic<\/a> most of these games employ. In other words, you\u2019ll be guaranteed to unlock the currently promoted S-Rank character upon pulling 90 times.
