Joe Swash, the well-known actor and television presenter, recently found himself under fire after his behavior on the popular show Celebrity MasterChef. The 39-year-old, hailing from London and celebrated for his charming, cheeky persona, gained widespread recognition as Mickey Miller on EastEnders.<\/p>\n

However, his recent antics on the culinary competition left viewers less than impressed. Swash, a father of two, was criticized for making disparaging remarks about his fellow contestants\u2019 cooking, labeling their dishes as \u201ca mess\u201d and \u201cbad.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reaction from the audience was swift and harsh, with many branding him as \u201carrogant,\u201d \u201crude,\u201d and \u201cgraceless.\u201d One disgruntled viewer expressed their disapproval, commenting, \u201cHow rude is Joe Swash! Pointing fingers and saying that someone else did rubbish so he\u2019s okay.\u201d<\/p>\n

The controversy unfolded during the show\u2019s \u201cUnder the Cloche\u201d challenge, where each participant was tasked with creating a dish from a given ingredient. Swash received pigeon, while his co-competitor, Will Kirk, known from The Repair Shop, was challenged to work with chickpeas, which he paired with chicken.<\/p>\n

Despite other contestants being supportive of one another and saying they were \u2018all did a good job\u2019 after the first challenge Joe told Will: \u2018Because your chicken was so bad, I feel like there\u2019s no pressure\u2019.<\/p>\n

In a second challenge, the contestants were asked to recreate Jamaican street food dish Escovitch fish and festival dumplings.<\/p>\n

While judges\u00a0John Torode and Gregg Wallace praised actress\u00a0Melissa Johns dish, Joe disparaged his fellow contestants, writing: \u2018I looked around and there were some right messes on the plate, mine was decent\u2019.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018As long as I\u2019m not the worst review I\u2019m happy. Will did another bit of raw meat, he dug us all out of a hole hasn\u2019t he,\u2019 Joe said through laughter.<\/p>\n

Viewers were left seething at Joe\u2019s comments, with one writing: \u2018There\u2019s no need to be so nasty about another contestant\u2019s effort.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Joe Swash mocking Will for not cooking his duck properly is not nice,\u2019 added another.<\/p>\n

The actor and presenter, 39, who is known for his \u2018cheeky chappy\u2019 persona, won the hearts of the nation playing Mickey Miller in EastEnders. But last night, viewers were left seething after the father-of-two called fellow contestant\u2019s dishes \u2018a mess\u2019 and \u2018bad\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2018I never had a particular opinion about Joe Swash but seeing him being so nasty about the other contestants has given me one! Not nice at all,\u2019 wrote a third.<\/p>\n

A fourth penned: \u2018\u00a0Was thinking Joe Swash was quite funny, but two digs at a fellow contestant\u2026 hope he goes home next. Not deserving. Not funny.\u2019.<\/p>\n

At the end of the episode, Will left the show with Joe joining contestants Katie Price,\u00a0 Melissa Johns and Dion Dublin to advance to the next round.<\/p>\n

On advancing to the next round, Joe added: \u2018Stacey and the kids will definitely be happy for me. But they\u2019ll be surprised. Thing is, they have terrible palates, They don\u2019t appreciate what\u2019s put on the plate\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
