\n\tThe G\u00f6teborg Film Festival<\/a> has announced that Ruben \u00d6stlund<\/a> will take part in what they have described as an exclusive Q&A session at next year\u2019s Nordic Film Market, where the filmmaker will discuss his seventh feature, The Entertainment System Is Down<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThe session opens a window into the world of \u00d6stlund\u2019s highly anticipated seventh feature, The Entertainment System Is Down<\/em>, offering insights into its artistic vision, production journey, and collaboration with the international ensemble cast,\u201d the festival said in a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tThe session will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the G\u00f6teborg Film Festival\u2019s 27th Nordic Film Market. <\/p>\n \n\tThe Entertainment System Is Down <\/em>is a dark satire set on a long-haul flight between England and Australia, where the entertainment system fails, and passengers are forced to face the horror of being bored. The film shot this year in Hungary and wrapped in May.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\t\u00d6stlund has collected an international cast of high-power actors for the flick. Starring are Kirsten Dunst<\/a>, Daniel Br\u00fchl, Keanu Reeves<\/a>, Nicholas Braun, Samantha Morton, and Tobias Menzies<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tAlongside them are Connor Swindells, Daniel Webber, Wayne Blair, Dan Wyllie, Lindsay Duncan, Allan Corduner, Sofia Tjelta Sydness, Erin Ainsworth, Myles Kamwendo, Elle Piper, Thibaud Dooms, Sanna Sundqvist, Elle Piper and Tea Stj\u00e4rne, and Swedish artist Benjamin Ingrosso<\/p>\n \n\tElsewhere at the 2026 G\u00f6teborg Film Festival, Agnieszka Holland will be handed the international Honorary Dragon Award.
